Journey From Where?

Tarsus.

That is the home of the Apostle Paul, where his journey began. Like the Apostle Paul, I am also on a journey.

So far my journey has take me many places, and there are many yet to come. My home is Fort Scott, Kansas and from there I will journey out. Also like the Apostle Paul, I have been called to preach the gospel. I've already begun this with the adventure of a lifetime in South Africa, serving with OneHope for 10 months to share God's Word with children and youth. My next step is University Ministry in Wales. I'll be working alongside some missionaries I met in college when they were directing Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship.

If you've read the Bible you know that the Apostle Paul wrote much of the New Testament. He used those letters to teach, encourage, rebuke, and update his friends. Today's modern equivalent is a blog, thus my reason for creating this blog.... Throughout my time in Africa I used my other blog, A Year of Giving Hope, to keep all of my friends and family updated. Because that blog was made specifically for my time in Africa I decided to create this new blog to continue to keep people updated on everything that is happening in my journey.

The Apostle Paul had many adventures on the journey God planned for him. I know that God also has a great journey planned for me, and I've already seen the beginning of it taking place. God has a great journey for you as well, if you will obey His call.

The Apostle Paul journeyed from Tarsus to preach the gospel. I am journeying from Kansas to do the same.
